AFG Mindfulness Retreat
Bhutan is a sanctuary for mindfulness and inner stillness — a Himalayan kingdom where the rhythm of prayer flags, the silence of mountain monasteries, and the philosophy of Gross National Happiness offer a rare space for reflection. In a world defined by pace and noise, Bhutan invites leaders to slow down, look inward, and rediscover what truly matters.
The Alliance for Good believes that mindful leadership begins with personal wellbeing. Each year, AFG organises an immersive mindfulness retreat for members of the Business and Philanthropy Forum, bringing together NextGen leaders, family office principals, and purpose-driven changemakers for a journey of leadership dialogue, cultural immersion, and holistic wellbeing grounded in Bhutanese values.
Through guided wellbeing workshops, conversations with Buddhist scholars, encounters with young Bhutanese entrepreneurs, and transformative experiences like the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, participants return with renewed clarity, deeper connections, and a strengthened commitment to leading with purpose and compassion.
